Vessel pickup and disposal planning in Junk
Whether your junk boat is sitting on dry ground or sitting on the bottom, the crew can haul it, break it down, or recycle it.

Loading retired vessels from land-based sites
The crew hauls away any junk boat you want gone. That includes vessels with cracked hulls, dead engines, rotted trailers with blown tires, boats you can no longer afford to keep in a slip, and hulls beat up by constant maintenance. If the sails are ripped or the hull is plain ruined, we pull it out of your backyard, side yard, front yard, or local marina.
Arranging access to collect a vessel from the water
A junk boat taking on water or holding a slow leak needs to move before it sits on the bottom. We haul vessels with rainwater leaks, cracked bilges, split intake valves, broken heads, or spongy deck wood. If it floats or sinks in the Gulf, Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean, or Michigan Lakes, we clear it out. That covers intercoastal waterways, oceans, rivers, and inland lakes.

Assessing whether a retired vessel has recoverable value
Most junk boats have almost zero cash value once they reach a certain age. Some salvage yards might strip off useful hardware, metal, or working electronics, but most facilities focus entirely on crushing dead hulls. Waterfront real estate is too expensive to use up on rotted fiberglass and rusted trailers. The cost to haul and dismantle a vessel over 15 years old almost always runs higher than what the scrap brings back. Send us two or three photos through our quote form or apply for boat removal financing to get an exact estimate.
The path from vessel recovery to material separation
Boat disposal works differently depending on the vessel and who you hire, but Boat Hauler handles the whole project from start to finish. Our crew manages water towing, derigging, unstepping masts, pumping out stale fuel and bilge water, dredging mud, ramp transfers, haul-out scheduling, highway transport, plus divers and cranes if the hull is submerged. Once the boat reaches the yard, we strip the marine parts for reuse or recycle the materials and crush the rest offsite or right where it sits.
